Mindfulness and Compassion Research

Mindfulness and Compassion Trial Teaching

I am able to deliver mindfulness-based and compassion-based intervention teaching as part of academic research trials.

I am a trial therapist for the University of Cambridge on the ATTEND trial, a multi-site, large-scale, randomised-controlled trial investigating the effectiveness of a novel mindfulness intervention for adolescents with depression and their carers.

Mindfulness and Compassion Research

I am available to provide fixed-term, project-based research work on mindfulness and compassion research.

Some examples of the kind of projects I can take on are, second reviewing for systematic reviews, qualitative data coding to provide inter-rater reliability data, drafting manuscripts, contributing to research design, conducting qualitative interviews and focus groups, transcribing data, conducting experiments, managing data sets, and quantitative analysis.

I hold a research PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. My thesis focused on compassion-based approaches with children and young people. My journal publications can be found here.

I am absolutely fascinated by mindfulness and compassion research and love getting involved in new research projects, so please get in touch if you need a trial teacher or extra researcher capacity.
